Case Study: “Connecting with the Community”


Challenge:
To interact with competitive hockey players and their parents within the Upper Canada College application radius.

Solution:
We selected arenas by looking within the school’s application radius at particularly high income neighborhoods, and cross-referencing these with competitive hockey programs. We integrated free standing displays, digital advertising and on-site activations into a three month campaign period, a targeted time of year for UCC.

What Thom Partners Delivered:

  • 2 free standing displays in high traffic areas at 9 different arenas.
  • 9 digital screens used to convey schedule information in high traffic areas showing a 15 second UCC advertisement at 4 different arenas.
  • Thom Partners set up 2 on-site activations at peak times where UCC could interact with parents directly at the arena, providing information on the school and fun branded giveaways for players
